Bullet for My Valentine (often shortened to BFMV or Bullet) is a metalcore band from Bridgend in Wales, which was formed in 1998 (21 years ago) under the name Jeff Killed John. They released their first EP, Bullet For My Valentine, 15 Nov. 2004 (15 years ago).

Their first album, The Poison was released on 3 Oct. 2005 (14 years ago), and sold a total of 375 000 copies in the United States. It contained, among other things, the songs "Tears Do not Fall" and "All These Things I Hate (Revolve Around Me)", which was the most popular songs from this album.

The band's first concert DVD, entitled The Poison: Live at Brixton, was released in Norway in 2007 (12 years ago), but it was launched in Britain in Nov. 2006 (13 years ago). DVD (Digital Versatile Disc) was a huge success in the United Kingdom.
The DVD (Digital Versatile Disc) was filmed at the Brixton Academy in London. In addition to the live videos contained the 5 music videos, photo (wallpaper) gallery, behind the scenes, mini documentaries, song lyrics and BulletTV, which is Bullet For My Valentine's movies from the tour.

Bullet for My Valentine was opened for Metallica (36 pics) a few places in Europe on Metallica (36 pics)'s "Sick of the studio" tour in 2007 (12 years ago). Unfortunately, they had to cancel three concerts with Metallica (36 pics), and many others, because the lead singer Matthew Tuck suffered from laryngitis / larynx inflammation. The band feared that they had to give up, or get a new singer, but fortunately for all of Matthew was better and was able to go into the studio and produce the next album.

On 28 Jan. 2008 (11 years ago) they released their second album, Scream Aim Fire, and it was really big breakthrough for the band. It is one of the best-selling discs in 2008 (11 years ago), reaching the 1 sites in Japan, and number 3 in England, Germany and Australia and No. 4 on the charts in the United States.

The 27 Apr. 2010 (9 years ago) (April 26 in the UK / UK) is Bullet For My Valentine's new album, Fever. Fever is the band 3 album. We have a small "preview" of one of the songs in the album, the song is called "begging For Mercy". This can be downloaded free from Bullet For My Valentine's website, , or you can hear it on youtube. But time is limited and the download will be removed later. The album is made with producer Don Gilmore, who is best known for his work with Linkin Park (8 pics) and Good Charlotte.

The band played at Hove Festival in Arendal Trom√ły in 2008 (11 years ago), which was the second time the band came to Norway.
