Information about The Simpsons

Simpsons (original title: The Simpsons) is an American animated sitcom created by Matt Groening half Norwegian. The series was first broadcast in 1987 (34 years ago) as part of The Tracey Ullman Show, but was a separate series in 1989 (32 years ago). 27. Jul. 2007 (14 years ago), the figures seen in a feature length movie called The Simpsons Movie. The Simpsons has become extremely popular, and is the longest sent the animated TV series in world history.

The series is about The Simpsons, who live in the U.S. town of Springfield. The show constantly joking that it does not reveal where in the U.S. town, even though it is hinted that. Springfield, Vermont, won the competition between thirteen other cities named Springfield to have to have the premiere of The Simpsons Movie.

The Simpsons was first submitted in 1989 (32 years ago) in the United States. As the series has been successful in almost all over the world.

The Simpsons has won numerous awards since his debut, including 23 Emmy Awards, 22 Annie Awards and a Peabody. The 14 Jan. 2000 (21 years ago), the series was a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

In the 1998-anniversary edition of Time, named The Simpsons the century's TV series In the same issue, they found a place, as the only fictional character, to Bart, among the list of the century 100 influential person. In 2002 (19 years ago), the series of 8 place in the top 10 list on the TV Guide list of the best TV series of all time. They were on an 8 place just behind the show to David Letterman, and the list was won by Seinfeld.. Entertainment Weekly named The Simpsons the best TV entertainment in the 90s. "Channel 4" in England's viewers vote on the Internet The Simpsons as the best comic book for children, in front of Tom and Jerry.
