Biography for Shenae GrimesShenae Sonya Grimes (born Oct. 24, 1989 (24 years ago)) is a Gemini Award-winning Canadian actress. She currently plays the role of Annie Wilson in 90210, a spinoff of Beverly Hills, 90210. Prior to that she played Darcy Edwards on Degrassi: The Next Generation. She acted in a 2006 (7 years ago) Coffee Crisp commercial. She was a recurring guest star on the series Naturally, Sadie as Arden Allcott. She is Irish on her father's side and Italian on her mother's side. She currently lives in Los Angeles.CareerBeginning with a minor role in 2004 (9 years ago), Grimes became a lead character in Degrassi in 2006 (7 years ago), playing the role of Darcy Edwards. In 2008 (5 years ago), she was cast as Annie Wilson in 90210, the CW's spinoff of Beverly Hills, 90210. Along side co-stars Jessica Lowndes and Dustin Milligan Grimes also follows the ranks of Jason Priestley former Beverly Hills, 90210 star as a Canadian actor on a U.S hit TV show. After four seasons, Grimes returned in the eighth season of Degrassi, but as a guest, because of her work for 90210, her role is now recurring until further notice.She also appeared in the ABC's movie picture (wallpaper) This along with High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale (142 walls) and former co-star Lauren Collins from Degrassi: The Next Generation.
