Jenny FrostPictures![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Biography for Jenny FrostJennifer Frost (born 22 Feb. 1978 (43 years ago)) is an English singer, model, TV personality, DJ and member of Atomic Kitten.Frost loved music from an early age. Her earliest concert experience was when her father took her to a Level 42 concert at the age of nine. Sports and dancing were Frost's favourite activities, however modelling was her dream. After high school she started to work for the BBC TV doing the Holiday programme and traveling around the world. CareerPrecious and Atomic Kitten (11 walls)Frost started her musical career in 1998 (23 years ago) in the group Precious, which became famous by winning the right to represent the UK at the Eurovision Song Contest in 1999 (22 years ago), with the song "Say It Again". This propelled Jenny and the band to a big hit in the UK Singles Chart, while they flopped at the contest itself, finishing only twelfth. Subsequent releases by Precious enjoyed only modest success and Frost moved on by replacing Kerry Katona in Atomic Kitten (11 walls) in 2001 (20 years ago), just in time to bask in the reflected glory of their first UK No. 1 single, "Whole Again". In 2004 (17 years ago) they decided to take a break and now perform occasionally. Solo career After the split of Atomic Kitten (11 walls), Frost has embarked on a solo career and released her first single "Crash Landing" on 10 Oct. 2005 (16 years ago), which failed to reach the Top 40. Frost originally recorded the song for the band Route 1, but decided to remake it and shoot a video for the song which features Jenny in a spaceship in a pink/purple setting. Frost then recorded a song called Bad Girl but stated that she no longer wanted to work in the music industry full-time by herself as it was not as fun. Frost's song "Bad Girl" is available from her official MySpace. The song was originally written for Jennifer Lopez (30 walls) film, Enough, and was written by Frost's boyfriend Dom Thrupp. In 2007 (14 years ago), it was confirmed that Jenny would release a Christmas album, entitled 'In The Frost' in the winter of 2007 (14 years ago), however due to Jenny's pregnancy the album was postponed until 2008 (13 years ago), but they still felt unready to release the album due to Jenny's commitments to her child and lack of being able to promote. The album is now slated for the 2009 (12 years ago) release in November, 10 out of 12 tracks for the album have been recorded and this includes a track called "White Christmas" featuring fellow Atomic Kitten (11 walls) member Natasha Hamilton. In Jun. 2009 (12 years ago), record executives at Frost's label are rumored to have cancelled plans to release the long anticipated album 'In The Frost', due to the epic failure of her previous singles. The album may be released, but only under the name of Atomic Kitten. Other work She appeared on the 2005 (16 years ago) edition of I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! on the ITV network.
