Phil Potts Ellen Page (born Feb. 21, 1987 (32 years ago)), known as Ellen Page, is a Canadian actress. Page received a Golden Globe and Oscar nomination for best actress for her role as the main character in Juno.

She is also known for his roles in Hard Candy (2005, 14 years ago), Smart People (2008, 11 years ago) and Katherine "Kitty" ornamental in X-Men: The Last Stand (22 walls) (2006, 13 years ago). She also attracted attention in his home country Canada, winning roles in Pit Pony and Marion Bridge as well as TV shows Trailer Park Boys and ReGenesis.

In 2008 (11 years ago), Page was nominated for the Times list of 100 most influential people. and got a placement at number 61 on FHM's Sexiest Women in the World list. In Jun. 2008 (11 years ago), Page was added to Entertainment Weekly's future A-List star list.

Early years

Page was born and raised in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada, the daughter of Martha Phil Potts, a teacher, and Dennis Page, a graphic designer. She attended the Halifax Grammar School until the 10th class, went a transition at Queen Elizabeth High School, and dimeterede from the Shambhala School in 2005 (14 years ago). She also spent two years in Toronto, Ontario, where she was studying in the Interact Program at Vaughan Road Academy, together with his good friend and colleague, Canadian actor Mark Rendalens. While she was growing up she loved to play with action figures and climb trees.

Career

Page began acting when she was 10, with a role in tvfilmen Pit Pony, which subsequently became a spin-off TV series. This led to several roles in smaller Canadian movies and TV series. At age 16, she got a role in an independent movie shot in Europe, Mouth to mouth.

Page had a role in the 2005 (14 years ago) movie Hard Candy, and was praised for "one of the most complex, disturbing and haunting performances of the year." She also starred in X-Men: The Last Stand (22 walls) as Kitty ornament (Shadowcat) the girl who can walk through walls. In the previous X-Men movie role was spent in short guest appearances, played by other actors, but never used as a key role.

Page hosted Saturday Night Live on Mar. 1, 2008 (11 years ago) and on May 3, 2009 (10 years ago), she guest starred in the episode "Waverly Hills 9-0-2-1-D'oh" of the animated series The Simpsons (15 walls) (1 walls) as a character named Alaska Nebraska, a parody of Hannah Montana. She also starred in Drew Barrymore's directorial debut, Whip It, alongside Juliette Lewis, Marcia Gay Harden, Drew Barrymore (12 walls) and Kristen Wiig.

Personal life

Page lives in his hometown of Halifax, and has a dog named Patti, named after one of her idols Patti Smith. She is prone to sleepwalking. In 2008 (11 years ago) Page was one of 30 celebrities who participated in an online advertising series for U.S. Campaign for Burma, calling for the abolition of military dictatorship in Burma. She is a pro-choice feminists.
