She married tennis player Andy Roddick at a private ceremony in Austin, Texas on Apr. 17, 2009 (12 years ago). She reported on the Dan Patrick Show (Aug. 3, 2009 (12 years ago)) that her birthday is in April, not August.Early yearsDecker and her family moved to Middletown, Ohio, then to Matthews, North Carolina, where she was discovered in a shopping mall as a teenager. Her parents both work in the medical field—her father works with pacemakers, and her mother is a nurse. Decker attended Butler High School in Matthews, North Carolina.CareerDecker began her modeling career as the face of Mauri Simone, a popular prom dress maker. She won the 2003 (18 years ago) Model of the Year award at the Connections Model and Talent Convention.Decker has been featured in pictorials in Teen Vogue, Cosmopolitan, FHM, and Glamour, and has modeled for The Gap, Intimissimi and Victoria's Secret (26 walls).
